LAWRENCE TONG
Lawrence is the International Director of OM, steering the movement to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers amongst the least reached.
Lawrence visited OM’s first ship, Logos, in Singapore in 1974 and subsequently joined the ministry team on OM’s second ship, Doulos, in 1978. Lawrence graduated from Biola University (Southern California) with a degree in Communications. He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of LaVerne (California).
Lawrence’s leadership journey in OM has included serving on the Board of OM Singapore, as OM country leader for Taiwan, as Director of OM’s third ship, Logos II as well as in financial development with the OM Ships office in Florence, South Carolina. He is also recognised to have led the fast‐growing work of OM in an East Asia country with a significant focus on welfare and agricultural programmes.
A visionary leader, Lawrence is committed to fostering innovation in world missions, inspiring people to pray, give and go.
RODNEY HUI
Rodney is an OM East Asia Area Mentor, inspiring inter-generation interest in discipleship and missions.
In his 40 years with OM, Rodney Hui has lived in six countries and on board three OM ships – Logos, Doulos and Logos Hope. After founding OM Singapore, he served as National Director for 10 years. From 1995 to 2010, he was Area Director, East Asia Pacific. For four years, he served on the leadership team on board Logos Hope.
Rodney authored several books, including ‘Been There, Done That’, ‘Keep Going’, and ‘The Voyage of the Logos Hope’. He is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church in Singapore.
Phillip Quek
Phillip serves as the Executive Director of OM Singapore and has an enduring passion to share hope with the least reached.
Phillip began his career as a marine engineer with the Republic of Singapore Navy. In 1988, he joined MV Doulos as an engineer and served onboard for 10 years. In 2006, Phillip was invited to head CITY Community Services, the community service arm of the Anglican Diocese of Singapore.
Today, Phillip leads the work of OM in Singapore and Southeast Asia, passionate about seeing community development and transformation. Fluent in English and Mandarin, he longs to inspire Jesus followers toward their God-given mission.
KENNETH BONG
Kenneth is an OM International Coach with a keen interest in developing people and teams.
Kenneth holds a Master of Theological Studies from Trinity Theological College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (National University of Singapore). He served on board the OM ship, Logos II, for two years.
He went on to become OM Singapore’s Executive Director for 15 years, leading the work in mobilising hundreds of Singaporeans into global missions. Kenneth then became Regional Director of OM South East Asia and East Asia Pacific from 2004 to 2012. He specialises in leadership development, management, planning and strategic thinking.
ALVIN TEY
Alvin leads the team overseeing people and organisational development in OM East Asia Area.
Previously heading the work in OM Mercy Teams International (MTI), Alvin has a passion for social and economic justice. He holds a Master in Christian Studies from the Biblical Graduate School of Theology and a PhD in Intercultural Studies with Biola University. He also has a BSc (Government and Economics) from London School of Economics, and has held strategic and senior management roles in the public sector and two universities in Singapore, and with a global business consulting firm.
grace lee-kok
Grace is the Executive Director of OM Mercy Teams International (MTI), with a heart for the least and the lost.
Grace graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the National University of Singapore and practised as a lawyer in Singapore before joining the Ministry of Education as an educationist. She then joined the Singapore Academy of Law and headed the Legal Education Department for almost seven years. In 2014, she joined law firm Dentons Rodyk and helmed the Dentons Rodyk Academy until 2019.
Today, Grace is the Executive Director of OM Mercy Teams International (MTI), a non-profit organisation which seeks to bring God's holistic transformation to needy and marginalised communities in Asia.
TERENCE LOKE
Terence Loke serves on the OM East Asia Area leadership team, overseeing the Area Service Hub.
Terence began his missionary journey serving on board the OM ship Doulos for two years and did ministry in over 13 countries. For more than 20 years, he served as the local and regional Personnel Manager, Acting Executive Director, and the Executive Director of OM Singapore.
Terence specialises in the administrative ministry and is passionate about screening and mentoring individuals who are preparing for missionary service.
EDWIN AND MARY KOH
Edwin (高瑞秦) and Mary (罗燕怀) are OM workers serving in two continents.
For 18 years, together with their three children, Edwin and Mary were involved in bible distribution, friendship evangelism and church planting ministries in a least-reached nation in West Asia. They also initiated a Business as Mission (BAM) platform there and were given the opportunity to pioneer and pastor a mainland Chinese fellowship. They continue to serve the locals in this nation through a business community.
In OM Singapore, Edwin is highly involved in the local ministry, leading teams to minister to marginalised least-reached communities in Singapore. Formerly a Mobiliser with OM Singapore, Mary is a Coach Facilitator with OM East Asia Area. Both Edwin and Mary have been invited to speak at several churches about ministry and missions in English and Mandarin.
terence tay
Terence is the Associate Director of OM Singapore and longs to see the next generation reached for God.
Terence has dedicated more than a decade of his professional life to actively participating in community services and contributing to various church ministries.
With a Bachelor's degree in Theology from TCA College, Terence's passion lies in working with children and youth, growing and nurturing their spiritual development and serving as a mentor in matters of faith.
Today, Terence serves as the Associate Director of OM Singapore.
siew duan leow-loke
Siew Duan serves as a core team member in OM Singapore's Local Ministry.
Together with her husband, Terence Loke, Siew Duan served on board OM's MV Doulos from 1995-1997, during which she first grew a heart for vulnerable women.
Siew Duan joined OM's Local Ministry team in 2015 after caring for her daughters as a stay-at-home mom. She has since been leading teams of volunteers to befriend and share the love of Jesus with streetwalkers in Geylang, many of whom come from least-reached diaspora groups. Siew Duan has been invited to share about the ministry at various church prayer meetings and small group gatherings in English and Mandarin.
