Start with STEP (2-4 months)
Our Short-Term Exposure Programme (STEP) is ideal if you'd like to test your calling and experience what it's like to serve on board one of our ships or on shore at our US literature facility in South Carolina.
Lasting from two to four months, STEP will offer you a unique insight into what it means to serve globally in a multicultural environment.

Commit to serving one or two years
Come as you are with no previous experience or particular skills required. You'll receive training in preparation for coming on board.
Once on board, you will benefit from further 'on the job' training, combined with exciting opportunities to develop your ministry and life skills.
Opportunities to use your professional skills
If you have professional skills, we have a wealth of opportunities awaiting you, ranging from deck and engineering officers and ratings, to doctors, cooks, electricians, plumbers, welders, carpenters, bookkeepers, journalists, photographers, designers, information technology and audio-visual professionals, to name a few!
