Opportunity Overview
Are you a trained physiotherapist (physical therapist) who would love to serve in a remote area? Join the Church Planting team in a small mountainous town in northern Albania to serve a community that deeply needs to be shown God's love through you using your professional skills and passions.
Required Skills
It is important for the physiotherapist/physical therapist to be committed to build up the local church. Involvement with the local church is a definite must as it is the only evangelical church in town and is where the OM team serves. The church's vision is to show Jesus' love to the community through words and actions, including the vital service of offering therapy to those who need it while also trying to address their spiritual needs. Physiotherapy/physical therapy is a very real necessity in this small mountainous town, as there are individuals with serious health conditions who need regular therapy and don't have easy access to it. It would also be wonderful if the physiotherapist/physical therapist were open to being involved with other ministries when not doing therapy; these ministries could include doing sports ministry or working with kids, youth, men (if a man), or women (if a woman). We are open for creative ways of showing God's love through and to the local church.

* The jobs listed on this website do not have a set salary. This means that the person who applies will need to raise their own support, which is money that they will use to live on. The amount of support money they need to raise will depend on things like where they are from, if they have a family, and what country they will be working in. There might be some jobs that pay salary, but these are rare and would need to be negotiated with the sending offices and the teams you'd like to serve with. If you have any questions about this, please contact your local home office. Always keep in mind that our ministry depends on generous giving from our partners around the globe and God's ongoing provision. Joining OM is always seen as a step of faith and trust in a God who will provide for our needs through his chosen people.
