You can be part of our church planting project here in the rural areas of Panama and impact the lives of so many people in need. Share the Gospel with the least reached communities in Azuero Region
The Participant must NOT have Piercings, Tattoos must be covered, NO hair coloured with green, purple or artificial white, NO Bikinis for swimming, no short skirts, the shoulders must be covered.
The Participant must bring a long skirt for women and long trousers for men especially for the church services. Some days, the participant could wear shorts but they should cover the knees.
Semi formal cloths are necessary
The Church that we are partnering with may ask the participant to do some practical work such as painting or cleaning, the participant must be flexible.
Covid vaccination is not required, but must check with your embassy about any special requirements to return to your country and also check with the Panama consulate or embassy in your country to verify Covid policy.
The participant must pay for the COVID test. Check with Panamanian embassy or consulate exact time prior the departure. (This policy is subject to changes because of the government)
In the situation that the participant get Covid 2 days prior de departure, the Panamanian authorities will not allow the person to travel, the participant must pay any additional expenses for the quarantine time such as hotel, food, transportation, and covid test. Price excludes non-refundable deposit of £50, flights, insurance & any possible vaccinations and is subject to change according to the exchange rate.

As part of our Safeguarding policy, you may require a valid enhanced DBS certificate, which may cost an additional £20.
What To Expect
The Church Planting project has so many initiatives, we are using the arts, sports and personal development strategies to reach different communities with the Gospel. Participate in children programs, jail programs, prayers night, prayers walk, sports, and arts training.
The town of Chitre is a semi rural community and from there we will move to differents towns because they are spread in the Azuero region.
You will have the opportunity to share in schools, towns, streets, hills, mangrove swamp and even in the city. This outreach offers different minstries opportunities.
You will also have the opportunity to experience the Panamanian hospitallity as you will be working alongside 2 local Panamanian Churches.
The participant will serve mainly with the local church and the church members.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be accommodation provided?
The participant must bring a sleeping bag as he/she may sleep in the Church, but the church may offers to stay in a church member home.
Will there be food provided?
The cost did not include special dietary need. The participant will usually eat Panamanian food.
Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?

The participant must pay for the airport pick up and airport drop.
Local travel will be in public bus, food, transportation for events and meetings, related to the work is included in the cost.

What should my health condition be like?
The participant must be in good health and have a international health insurance policy.
Do I need a visa?
Panama is a very open country and allows many individuals to stay for 3 months without a visa, but the individual is responsible to check the visa requirements from his or her country. We can explore the option of extend the visa period in Panama, so the participant can stay longer than 3 months.
