Journey Overview

Cycling through the Northern part of Senegal, which is unreached end disengaged for missions. Mobilizing prayer and funds for missions in Senegal

Language will be English, there will be translators into the local language.

If you are not able to cycle, you can join the ride as a support person.

If you are going to cycle, kindly bring your bicycle. Applicants must be 18 or over and must take or hire their own bike.

Cost excludes travel, bike and equipment, insurance, any necessary vaccinations and DBS if required.

As part of our Safeguarding policy, you may need a valid enhanced DBS certificate, which may cost an additional £20.

What To Expect

We will be cycling about 90km a day. On the way we will meet local missionaries, churches, and other projects. Each participant will raise funds for a VCJF Sports training in Senegal

Age Range: 18-80

Need to be fit and able to cycle +/- 110 km a day (longest day 130km).

Food and drinks are included. Extra food and drinks if desired need to be bought by the participants

Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?

You will be picked and dropped from Dakar airport. During the ride your luggage will be transported by the support vehicle.

People need to bring their own bicycle.

What should my health condition be like?

Need to be fit and able to cycle +/- 110 km a day (longest day 130km).
There will be a support bus driving with us. When you do not manage to cycle any more you can put your bike in the car.
