After the conference, you will travel with your teammates to the outreach country. You will be involved with the local office and their ministry. We warmly welcome those who have a passion for making a difference in people's lives by using your gifts and talents.
We are a Home for orphans, underprivileged children, and poor destitute senior citizen. The team coming would need to be ready to…
prepare some interaction activities with children, youths, and senior citizen at the Home.
conduct devotion and bible study with the children.
go on a little excursion with the children (there is a possibility).
share their testimony in a local church.
involve with various physical projects for the Home e.g., cleaning, painting etc. STEP OUT is a short-term program that provides practical mission training and experience hands-on mission in Asia.
1) Early arrival is possible and we will recommend some budget hotel options.
2) The price DOES NOT include your home office admin fees.
3) Participants should arrive at the airport before 3pm as the conference venue is about 1.5 hours away from the airport. Participant will be responsible to find their own way to the venue if they miss the OM Taiwan pick up time.
4) If a cancellation happens after the 20th of July, the full amount will be charged.
5) OM Taiwan will do an ICH charge to the sending fields for all conference and outreach participants joining.
6) Sending Field is responsible for checking visa requirements for your participants attending both the Conference in Taiwan and the outreach location.
- For applications made before 1 May the cost will be TWD27700, after that will be TWD28000.
(Price does not include any visa application cost, travel to Taiwan, travel to outreach location or travel home) There will be a slight discount for those who apply before 1st May 2025.
Price excludes flights, insurance, any visas or necessary vaccinations and is subject to change according to the exchange rate.
Individuals applying must be 25 or over. This option is tailored towards those aged 25-65.

As part of our Safeguarding policy, you may require a valid enhanced DBS certificate, which may cost up to an additional £30.

What To Expect
26 July: Arrive at Taiwan for conference. All participants will have dinner together before the first program starts.
27-29 July: It includes main sessions, interaction sessions, team building, different practical workshops, cross-cultural awareness, GO night, prayer night, community night. The conference will end in the evening of 29 July.
30 July: Depart conference to outreach.
30 July - 09 August: Outreach
Children, youth, and senior citizens ministry in a Home.
09 August: Depart to home
Participant Profile
Age Range: 25-65
We are looking for people who love Jesus. No previous experience is necessary as here it could be your starting point! Additionally, if you have a heart for Asia but are not sure about where to start, this program is definitely designed for you.
Another distinctive feature for STEP OUT is the BILINGUAL conference (English and Chinese)! We warmly welcome Chinese speakers who struggle to communicate in English as Chinese interpretation would be provided throughout the conference.
Participant is recommended to have basic English communication skill due to our team common language is in English.

You will be offered Taiwanese food and local Food. Special dietary needs have to be communicated in advance.
Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?
You should arrange your flight to Taoyuan International Airport(TPE), Taiwan – ,Outreach Country (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) - home country. Full details of travel arrangements will be provided by your local OM office.
Airport pick-up will be arranged on the arrival day. Transportation will be provided from the conference venue to the airport on the departure day.

What should my health condition be like?
You should be in good health, and be responsible to obtain appropriate emergency health, medical, and travel insurance
Do I need a visa?
Only a TOURIST visa is required. In addition, Taiwan has visa exemption relationships with many countries. Please confirm full details in the website of Taiwanese bureau of consular affairs:
