"The Virtual Reality Experience" is a new way to engage believers about the importance of mission and our role in discipleship.
In 2023, The Virtual Reality (VR) Headset Experience was completed and used in several conferences for teens, students and young adults in the UK. The VR Headset Experience takes users from the beauty of creation without sin to showing how sin entered the world and brought corruption to our reality. In partnership with OM in the UK, MediaWorks developed the concept and 3D visuals for the videos, which they hope will be used as a creative way to mobilise people to see role in reaching the nations.
When they were used at these conferences, the VR headsets proved to be a successful tool to initiate conversations around God’s plan for salvation and calling Christians into missional activities. As a result, additional ministries are interested in using the headsets, and MediaWorks is discussing how this tool can be distributed digitally instead of on-site use only.
Pray for these initial discussions as the goal is to make the VR headsets available to an even wider audience . Pray for the shorter version of the VR experience that is currently under way.
