Journey Overview

We will be working together with local organizations to build connections with these workers, their kids and elderly, share the good news and the most precious gift. Dong Gang harbor is one of the biggest fishing harbors in Taiwan, nearly 90% of workers on board the fishing vessels are migrant workers from different countries.

Taiwan's winter does not get under 0C, so no need to bring to big winter coats. Please note: Cost indicated is for conference and outreach only. Unless otherwise indicated, it includes accommodation, meals, local travel. However, visa costs and travel to and from the event are extra. A €30 non-refundable application fee is included. Cost will be finalised upon application due to fluctuations in currency exchange.

What To Expect

  1. Cooperate with local church serving these workers on fishing boats.
  2. Local church runs an after school program for elementary age kids, we may take part with them. 3. Helping church establish connections to elders living nearby.

Age Range: 18-80

We are looking for people who love, and have a desire to share the gospel. No previous experience is necessary as this could be your starting point!

Will there be accommodation provided?

You will sleep in simple dormitories

Will there be food provided?

You will be offered Taiwanese tribal food. Special dietary needs have to be communicated in advance.

Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?

The local staff will pick you up from the airport and travel together with you to the outreach area.

What should my health condition be like?

Participants should be in average good health, and be responsible to obtain appropriate emergency health, medical, and travel insurance.

Do I need a visa?
